During week three of competitions, Jack in the Bot found victory at the Yakima SunDome in alliance with CHUCK (2147) and Confidential (4125). Ranking first in qualifications, we captained our alliance and earned the FIRST Industrial Design Award (sponsored by General Motors). The semifinals started off rocky after we lost the first match, but we managed to make a comeback and compete through the lower bracket until we found ourselves in the finals. Two successful matches later, we could call the blue banner ours. We’re all so thankful for the opportunity to compete at the SunDome, and for each of the teams that helped us along the way.
