The HM Jackson High School Robotics Club was founded in 2008 to become FRC Team 2910: Jack in the Bot. Over the years, we’ve have consistently improved in our competitiveness at FIRST® FRC competitions, striving to achieve excellence in everything we do.

Where it all started…

In August 2008, a group of Boeing employees met with a Jackson Career Technical Education teacher at Round Table Pizza. Soon after, a live NASA broadcast presented our first FRC challenge. We crafted a robot that was thought to have a chance against the veteran competitors. Alongside building the robot, we had to organize team communication, rules, and funding. The task was accomplished with a combination of hard work and community support.

Now, years later, we are as capable as ever. Our team has collected a number of awards, including blue banners for PNW District, World Championship, and elite off-season events. Although many of our members have come and gone, we are lucky enough to have fresh faces each year ready to explore and learn. Many alumni have rejoined the team as mentors and others have come to the team excited by what we do and looking forward to helping us achieve our goals.
