On Sunday (03/03/24), Jack in the Bot took home the win at Glacier Peak with our alliance partners, The Revolution (Team 360), BremerTron (Team 3049), and ChainLynx (Team 8248). We’re thrilled to kick off the Crescendo season with a success!
Coming out of qualification matches with a record of 11-1-0, and out of playoffs with a record of 5-2-0, we’re ecstatic with our success on the field. Despite our climber being unfinished, we pulled through. Our next step is to focus on improving our robot, Typhoon, in time for Bonney Lake.
We also achieved the Quality Award for our sleek robot design, and set the current world record for most points scored in a match at 135. We owe it to our awesome drive team and everyone who contributed these past eight weeks leading up to Glacier Peak. “We cooked,” says Sudhir Chebiyyam, driver.
Needless to say, we were all glad to see our hard work pay off at Glacier Peak. We thank the Sonic Squirrels (Team 2930) for hosting this event and all of the volunteers who made it possible. We can’t wait to do it again at Bonney Lake!
