It’s week one of build season and students are charged up with motivation to get started. “It’s certainly been busy,” says our fabrication lead, Nathan Smith. “We’ve been hard at work prototyping and testing.” This week, fabrication has made serious progress in prototyping intakes while programming and CAD set up to begin work on the robot. Meanwhile, media has been editing and taking photos of everything. Everybody’s buzzing around the school like worker bees in the hive, never losing sight of our goal–to give ourselves the best experience we can this season. We’re about halfway through the prototyping stage and our initial efforts are looking good; we hope to keep it up!
